Bungie i know i am just one player but can you please add the trials of the nine ornaments for the armor set from the nine in the new prpphecy dungeon, those are the best looking ornaments in the game it would be a shame to just forget them...
-
Well, they did just recently give back the old Iron Banner armour sets from Osiris and Warmind AND the set back in Splicer so... it could be in the realm of possibility. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Don't hand the ornaments on a silver platter, make it added to a higher difficulty prophecy or associat it with secrets and exploration within the dungeon. Solo flawless? Solo runs. This would very much intrigue every player to try at prophecy solo or to engage in the activity more in a pursuit for that look. I for one love the nine sets, and the lore pertaining to them. Even if it's a % drop from runs or triumphs. This could easily boost the challenge and reward for players.

20 RepliesI disagree. Those ornaments are for the people that went flawless in trials of the nine. Not some handout from the dungeon. There is nothing cool to have in this game anymore. Those ornaments are one of the few things left.

Only reason I played trials after week one
go ahead ask me why week one
2 RepliesThose are PvP ornaments which you only got for competing and winning in Trials. It would totally devalue the effort of the PvP players who earned them if they were simply handed out in easy PvE content. I personally don't mind old gear or ornaments returning, as long as it dosen't devalue to effort in earning them originally. For example: the Gambit prime weapons were once only obtainable through Reckoning, and on occasion (but very rarely), through Gambit prime itself. This season 3 of those weapons were thrown into the world loot pool with a higher power cap, and you are even given the ability to farm them directly with little effort in earning the materials. One of those weapons is kinda mediocre, but the other two perform great, and for most people who originally were chasing them, required a lot of time and effort in receiving the roll they desired. This is in one way saving you the effort of grinding out those weapons as they would for one be capped at a lower level, and also be much harder to earn reliably, but it's also an FU to the players who spent the time grinding for them, and even then maybe never got the exact roll they wanted. Anyway, they were tied to an end game PvP activity and I think they should stay there, not casual PvP or easy PvE. Even as a strictly PvE player, you can still earn every other armor ornament set in the game

11 RepliesSo what your saying is...they should just hand out ornaments to people who don't deserve them? Btw, if you earned those ornaments in Y1, you can equip them on the current trials gear.
-
Those should be for people who earned them when available. Not a throw in due to constant reissuing of armor.
-
8 RepliesYES. I want these ornaments back. I dont know why they're not back in yet. If they do add it back, it should either go through trials flawless runs + flawless prophecy run so it isn't easy to get
-
12 RepliesI think its plenty that they re issued the armor itself. The ornaments should remain exclusive to those that were around to earn them in a time that Destiny 2 was on life support.

Na. I have arms with the glowy crap. Theyre a ancient sacred relic. Let us remember them for how they were, and not for what they may become.
-
15 RepliesI personally think that would 100% devalue the effort players put into Trials of the Nine to get those ornaments.
-
I don’t care if I have them but if it’s going to -blam!- off all the elitist who think there’d special because they have something you don’t have, I’ll give ya an upvote. Thanks for still playing and putting effort into this game.
-
4 RepliesI'm sorry but I put a lot of work in to get those ornaments. The armour is available for everyone, just let the ornaments stay exclusive please. Its nice to have something not everyone has. I can understand the frustration of those that don't have them though
-
1 ReplyThey also should add some glowy raid ornaments as well, I want something to chase from the raids
-
The ornaments are on the armor bra
-
Man, for the amount of anti FOMO people and general disdain for the "you had to be there" moments, there sure is a lot of yall you are favor of it in this case. Cant have it both ways 🤷♂️
-
2 RepliesThis should never happen just the same as the base armour an weapons should never be added into PvE, it totally devalues players efforts who actually got them for them to be just handed out for face rolling content, I wanted the ornaments in Y1 just never had a dedicated team to get them an I'm okay with not having them.
-
The ornaments are there buddy...however depending on how many ornaments you have unlocked you may have to scroll over to get them on
-
.... or..... make them a random drop for flawless... even though most flawless players already have them.
-
They are there though.

3 RepliesWhilst it's not exactly where you were asking for. But we are soon'ish getting transmog -system into the game where players can turn armour pieces into Universal Ornaments.
Smith’s first big announcement is the addition of a transmogrification system for Destiny 2. In games like Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft, transmog allows players to transfer the look of one piece of gear onto another piece, while maintaining stat bonuses and upgrades. With Destiny 2’s transmogrification system, players will be able to turn any piece of armor they like into what’s called a Universal Ornament. Universal Ornaments are currently only available for Eververse armor pieces, and allow players to transform any armor piece’s visual style into that of the Universal Ornament. While Bungie doesn’t have details yet on how players will transform their existing, non-Eververse armor into Universal Ornaments, Smith said players can do it through gameplay or with the use of Silver. The transmog system still seems a ways off, with Smith saying it will appear sometime during Year 4, rather than this fall.
