Allo there,
Don't think there is a work around at the minute but Bungie are aware and investigating so just need to wait for a fix.

Alright, thanks. Is there a link where I can see all known current bugs so I can avoid quests that are affected?

Ok, thank you. Looks like it will be a little while before there is a patch out for it but it looks like they have a patch coming out today 7am-10am the servers will be down to implement the new fixes.

Yep a few things being fixed today, they may have had chance to fix the bug you're encountering but it maybe the next patch for it if they didn't have time 😀

Maybe. I found a reddit where someone reported the problem right after the new season came out so hopefully it’s a simple fix that will be rolled out today in the new patch.
