so how did the nine get daito armor?
i can understand say the weapons and the trials armor but the daito armor thats confusing plus we know little to nothing of the foundry and they have the least amount of weapons and now armor under their name one uncommon weapon and the jade rabbit

Edited by Swiftlock: 6/19/2020 5:29:00 PMThe Daito armor was supposed to be an Eververse ornament but Bungie made it a dungeon armor set to try and get critics to put down their pitchforks and torches over micro-transactions. They should've at least made the ornaments rewards and not just armor pieces tied to stats. Gonna have to wait for transmog on that.

Because it was obviously supposed to be this season's Eververse set and they decided to put it in the dungeon instead.

The drifter likes modifying existing weapons (The original gambit weapons are actually Tex Mechanica weapons, and the gnawing hunger is a modified version of the scathelocke. The arrival weapons are also omolon weapons). I assume he modified daito armor, then transmatted it to us throughout the dungeon. Edit: I looked at the flavor text for the Titan helmet, and it says this- [quote]”[i]Daddy Daito locked this old soul up in the warehouse when margins got too tight. Lore wise? I doubt that is explained 😂 Real reason? That armor was suppose to be the Tess armor this season but they moved it over to the Dungeon.
