Consider adding the ability to save “builds”

One of my favorite parts of a new season is experimenting with the new mods that are introduced. I have countless pieces of armor across my 3 characters that have seasonal mods equipped, however it becomes a huge pain when I want to run a specific build and can’t find the armor piece that has a given mod. I think it would do wonders if we were able to save builds that include armor and even weapons, and select those builds so we don’t have to search through our character’s inventory/ vault to find the right armor pieces.

  • Resetting your mods, weapons and armor perks is such a pain that I almost only have 1 loadout per character at this point

    • Again, i know it's not in game but use DIM (Destiny Item Manager). Not trying to defend them but under the current hardware specs it would just add more lag to the game, especially on console. As far as third party apps go, even when bungie had their own item transfer, everyone used things like DIM and Ishtar commander as they were undeniably better, more customization and more reliable. That said, as Bungie allows the use of the API they pretty much just handed the reins over to the third party providers and divert resources elsewhere in studio.

      • I use Ishtar. You can save multiple build and equip them with one tap.

      • This will likely never be added to the game but it would be nice. In the meantime you can do it with Destiny Item Manager and it's great. They even have a loadout builder that is extremely helpful.

      • I have been asking for this since destiny 1. They need to add the ability to save your loadouts. I also play division 2 and they have up to 13 loadouts you can save and when you want, you can click on the loadout you want and all the equipment even if it's in the stash(vault) it will equip if you have room. I really wish bungie would do the same.
