Hey bungie, can we change our character appearance?
My hunter looks like an absolute tool, and I feel like beyond light would be a good time to add an appearance editor, or maybe even a character transfer.

1 ReplyYES! I decided to add a titan to my account last week and once I started using it, I immediately noticed it looks nothing like how I designed it. It actually looks pretty terrifying. Straight out of Planet of the Apes.

We’ve been asking to be able to change our characters appearance after initially making them since 2014. There really is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to alter our characters faces after making them when we first start the game.

The standard Bungle excuse is "Doing things is Hard.." If anythign you ask for requires work, or testing or thought and doesn't involve them making money for Zero work - then the answer is no!

It would be really nice because I accidentally press randomize when making my titan so I re did it and decided to try and pick something else other than a exo, picked a awoken but accidentally went all the way down to finish and guess what? I accidentally pressed x and now my titan has been stuck like that since forsaken and now when ever there is a cutscene that shows your guardian’s face I see a ugly looking titan

2 RepliesDo what I do: in the settings menu make sure your characters alsways have their helmet on. :) Bungie will never fix this. This has been asked for since September 2014.

2 RepliesCan't you just store all the equipment in the vault, delete the character, recreate it then get the stuff back from the vault? (you may have to work through some stuff again to get back to the same place but as the majority of the game is about "redoing old stuff" anyway this probably won't make much difference!) (A couple of years ago I did that with my Titan simply because I couldn't get the very last bit or armor I need - RNG was bad - so I deleted, worked through again, put all the equipment back on and one of the quests at that time ended with you choosing the armor piece you liked (at full power) which allowed me to complete the whole thing - it's actually quite interesting to go back and work through missions anyway - you always do things better a second time!)

Considering the fact that our guardians get blown to hell, dismembered, holes shot through, smashed into flesh tone jelly and splattered all over our fellow guardians AND THEN have our ghosts put us back together again... You'd think it would be child's play to be able to change our hair color, facial tattoos, etc...
