I keep getting frozen in the game then get a trouble reading Destiny content message. It gets to 99% verifying content then asks me to reinstall. I've done this quite a few times now as well as factory reset my Xbox One S. This is only happening with Destiny 2. What can be done to stop it?

I had the same issue last night, I was mortified, I deleted the game and dlc, then wiped my local save then reinstalled it all, including dlc, its running perfectly now and as a cheeky bonus, made it load up faster too!!

5 RepliesYou have corrupted data. When you delete any game on the Xbox some data gets left on the hard drive. I’m pretty sure one of these will fix the problem (NOTE: this is not a checklist. Each line is a different suggestion) 1. Power cycle the Xbox (10 second power button hold) 2. Clear local saved games (storage in settings of Xbox) 3. Have you game shared? If you have bought destiny 2, but have had a friend who bought dlc for you stop game sharing, this will confuse the game. 4. Reinstall the game with NO dlc. Then try to launch. Hope one of these fixes the issue.
