Or the lack thereof.
Looking through collections, I’ve been pretty impressed by the new gear so far. But there’s a caveat. And as a Warlock main it’s kinda bothering me. So let’s begin.
The Holdfast Bond, and Siegebreak Bond are (almost) identical while the Titan and Hunter marks and cloaks are visibly unique to each other.
The base bond is already pretty visually striking, but could there seriously be no kind of embellishments be made to it for the ornament? Similarly to the Seventh Seraph/Valkyrian sets and others from prior seasons...
The base hunter cloak is, well, basic. Which makes the ornament look pretty cool.
The titan mark is also basic, so the ornament’s additional cloth makes it look a bit cooler.
Warlocks on the other hand get shafted. Both have the iconic V, and that’s about it. Save for a couple new rivets that you have to squint to see on the ornament. Unless there’s an effect that isnt visible in-menu. Like the Promethium Spurs. In which case the menu needs to be updated to show said effects.
For comparison, see last season’s bonds, the bonds before that and so on.
So unless my game is glitched and the bonds aren’t rendering properly, gotta say i’m unimpressed by the bonds.
The rest of the armour / ornaments for warlock on the other hand are pretty decent but the ornament set is let down by the sole addition of two (2) lowly rivets on the arm circlet.
