Use LFG, other then that you're just purposely finding others to report which is a huge dick move. Or even invite two others from your clan to play forges with you.

1 ReplyIf you do it properly, going below 700 power, no worries If you ruin others experiences, please stop and do it right
-
2 RepliesWho’s forging weapons at all at this point?
-
3 RepliesSurely it's the other way round? Anyone legitimately forging weapons should be left to do so. Anyone who wants to cheat rather than grind/play as usual should go out of their way not to affect the legitimate players. (by changing console date or wearing sub-750 equipment or whatever).
-
People who report this were the kids who reminded teachers about home work in school.... Likely our bosses in the real world and giant dick bags.
-
72 RepliesNope. AFK is a bannable offense. I will continue to report cheaters to bungie and microsoft/sony
-
Or you can just suck on the head..
-
If they aren't dropping power under 750, they in the wrong. Farm responsibly kids 👍😎
-
It seems to me that you’ve got it in reverse. Someone who isn’t planning on playing the activity as it was intended to be played should be the one gathering a fireteam: not the person who is planning to play as intended.
-
Wasting peoples time because you can't be bothered to play is also a not cool thing to do.
-
Here’s an idea - stop exploiting the game and play it properly. If not, expect to be reported - after all it’s there as an option, exploiting game, which is what the AFK people are doing.
-
1 ReplyWhat do you even get out of it?
-
You shouldn’t need to use LFG to get into a lobby that isn’t full of AFK farmers. The farmers are the ones who should be using LFG so they don’t ruin things for the people who actually play the game.

97 RepliesEdited by Althanash: 6/15/2020 5:11:25 PMIt's a dick move to AFK farm in the first place at the expense of other players. I nearly banned a long time friend of mine from playing with me ever again after I found out he was doing it. Edit: My notifications are exploding I'm actually impressed. This was a trolling post for further details scroll down. I'm glad you all know that these types of people are in fact bad people. My friend and I are fine. Nothing to be seriously concerned about. We both knew someone that was like this and we're both away from that particular dude. Thank the Traveler.

AFK is a reportable offense. If players are not actively lowering their power to be out of people’s way they deserve to be reported. Period, end of story.

Use LFG, other then that you're just purposely finding others to report which is a huge dick move. Or even invite two others from your clan to play forges with you.
How would that be purposefully finding others? Some people use matchmaking to play the game solo. If the experience is ruined by another player exploiting the game that is reportable. You can avoid being reported by dropping your light level before farming so you won’t be matched with active players. If you don’t drop your light you’re intentionally matching other players while AFK farming and deserve any reports you get.

21 RepliesEnough of us proper players are reporting these kids now, have a fun getting a nice ban.
-
How about the people that don't want to actually play the game LFG for other people that don't want to play.
-
2 RepliesPeople who are not dropping their power are the issue. I've afk farmed for almost 2 years with my 10 power, now 0 power starting gear, and have never, not once ever matched with someone trying to complete it. Yes, I checked my history.
-
Edited by Haunter: 6/15/2020 9:17:25 PMIf you drop your light then it should be no issue. If they're above 750 and doing it then I hope the randoms know to prolong the encouter as long as possible so they get kicked
-
And if you're afking above 750 then you're not the sharpest tool in the box too hehe
-
-
I'm assuming the people reporting are doing it to the players that didn't drop their power first. Otherwise they'd have to drop their own power to match with people to report lol
-
Well, as a fellow AFKer, we should be doing everything in our power - including lfg - to make sure we avoid people actually doing the forges; the responsibility is ours. If you cannot drop your light below 750 (far below), don't do the AFK farm.
-
Let them report if it makes them feel good, they ain't going to feel as good as getting 30 plus free engrams a day with is their own stupidity. Reporting won't do anything..
-
Afk people could also just find groups, not afk or use their favourite excuse, lower their light level. Which doesn’t work by the way, just play the game, afk is ineffective
-
You can drop your light level to the point where you are unable to do damage in the mode. If you can't do that then it is you that should use LFG to create a fireteam so as not to cause problems with those trying to actually play the game!
