I don't want to afk forge farm. #GuardianLivesMatter
The streamers and people in this forum make it sound like people want to afk forge farm. I don't want to. What I want to do is simple. I would like to play through the seasonal content. Having enough light levels to not have a repeated barrier of old content to do that makes sense.
Last season, I didn't get to experience a lot of the season content. I WANTED TO. I play destiny about an hour in a day, 3 days a week with a friend. In that time last season, I basically would do a bunker buster, legendary lost sector and a crucible match or something else small. I didn't play hardly anything that was new at all. Afk forge farming makes sense for us; Not because we want to get free loot or get free light levels. We just want to experience what is in the game with the little time that we can set aside to do that.

Some people complain that they do this to avoid bounty farming, those people are lying in some form or another, you, on the other hand, have raised the exact point that I make. Most of the power grind content I have been running for nearly 3 years straight. It's boring, it's tedious, and has turned more into a chore than a way to improve experience within the game. I will always take a new way to get powerful gear, even if it isn't as good, because it's different. If you afk correctly, you aren't messing with anyone, and there isn't exactly a game economy to mess up either.

11 RepliesLight level is there to timegate content so you don’t do it all in week one. This is simple to understand. Let’s say there’s a way to instantly hit max light (not something that should ever exist), you get to max light, you complete the dungeon, you complete the heroic event, you complete the missions, you have no content left for the season. If you actually have to work for that light level, you actually have content and a reason to do it for the rest of the season.

1 ReplyBungie already seemed to of ghost parched it behind the scenes. My thoughts are if your going to sunset my gear. Make things at a higher level just because of the little content your actually able to pump out and make us regrind the same stuff weve been doing for 3 years now pratically. I say -blam!- it I'm going to be a dick and exploit the shit out of somthing since they have zero problem exploiting their players anyways.
