Forges unplayable due to engram farming
Just tried to do 10 Gofannon’s in a row & couldn't complete them as I git two AFK teammates each time edit her rotating in circles or activating emotes to keep accounts live.

Yup same thing almost Everytime. I miss super Nintendo when people had to be in the same room to play so you could at least punch them in their stupid faces

Hopefully that helps with the issue.

Most afk will be at 750 or below. If you are 750 what the heck are you doing in a forge?

3 RepliesI maintain that Forges should not automatically rejoin matchmaking when finished. Do the same thing as Survival where you have to manually reselect the activity each time. Bam. Problem solved.

2 RepliesThis is honestly terrible - I’ve done 6-7 rounds and each time BOTH other players are clearly AFK (and they were always different people). The forges cannot be completed this way... Bungie please help...

7 RepliesWhat LL are you? I know streamers are talking about it. They are dropping their LL to under 750 and queuing with other farmers. They made it seem harmless to legit players. If your higher light and still queuing with afk farmers then that’s not cool. I don’t care about people cheesing and playing the way the want as long as it doesn’t effect other gamers’ experience. I run the forge a lot to complete bounties. Lot of enemies and usually goes quick. I haven’t come across any afk players yet.

Every single time I joined a forge I was paired with 2 afk &%$¨*. I can't complete my contracts and Bungie does nothing. I didn't even find a report option, and frankly... I wanna play, not to report 1000 people because the dev.s messed up.

I’ve never encountered anything like this. I tend to play solo and queue for random fireteams for most activities. It feels like being locked out of forges because of this, due to the fact it’s nearly impossible to win with two afks. On the rare occasion I can keep the forge alive and one or both get kicked for inactivity, it simply replaces them with two new afks. Because of this I’m stuck with radiant frames and augmented weapons I can’t complete, as well as working on the rare bounty for the forges. Surely it’s not too much to ask the auto queue option to be removed, as this is seriously hampering any chance to play this activity.

15 RepliesFarmers are supposed to be tanking their power to avoid matching with players above 750 trying to complete it. If people are above 750 afk farming, report them. If they are under 750 then Bungie's matchmaking is broken.

Ya i ran into that as well. just because win or fail you get 50 altered elements a run :(. it feels like an exploit honestly at this point.

yeah it feels like 90% of the forges i get qued in are afk ones, like i just want to do my blacksmith forge triumphs but nope, the AFK farmers have to ruin the game again and just like all the other times AFK farming was a thing, bungie are doing -blam!-all to fix it, before people say why dont you just play with a fireteam of lfg forges, i would but none of my buddies like forges and all the lfg posts I see are for people AFKing.

1 ReplyA clan mate and I played several forges today and reported every afk farmer. After completing the first round most of them got kicked, because we let them die and never revived them. The best was one guy who revived himself after a while (so he wasn't even afk) and after we finished the forge he went to the loot.... WTF
