Lost Saved Data

Recently I wanted to cross save my ps4 and PC accounts, however, now when I log onto both platforms it prompts me to create a new character, with my other ones gone. What can I do to recover my data?

  • Nothing was lost, you just picked the wrong account to be the cross save account. During the set up you would have been asked to pick an account to be the cross save account. That would be the account that has your game progress on it. So whichever account has your active characters on it is the one you should have picked, but instead you picked the other account. To resolve the issue immediately with no wait time you would need to disable cross save. But in doing so you will have to wait 90 days before you can re-enable cross save. Alternatively, if you can wait a few days, you can utilize the contact form at the bottom of this page, https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 In that form tell Bungie which account needs to be the cross save account that has your characters on it instructing them to switch your cross save set up to that account.
