Can't Discard or Decrypt Umbral Engrams
I didn't complete the beginning mission because my friends wanted me to do nightfalls, strikes, etc. with them. Because of this, I ended up having the maximum amount of Umbral Engrams, and I can't discard them or decrypt them from the quest because I have to take an engram from the Drifter, but I already had the max amount. Please make them discardable!!! (Destiny 2)

I'm in the same boat, I'm not about to spend 20 hours starting a second character just to work around an unanticipated edge case in a bugged quest.

4 RepliesHi there. As a workaround, you can progress through the Season of Arrivals campaign on a second character where your inventory is not full of Umbral Engrams. The campaign is account-wide, so once you unlock the ability to decode them on this second character, you can go back to the original character and turn them in.
