Fix for 0 light level and locked cross save account!
I cannot take credit for this as it was posted inside a thread, but I figured it deserved it's own thread since Bungie hasn't posted a fix yet, and this works. The issue originates with cross save people who have both accounts in the same clan. You need to leave the clan on your inactive account. You can do this on the app. Go to your profile, under your name change the system (Xbox, PSN, battlenet) from your active to inactive. You will then see your old characters. Click on the clan name and then select leave clan. You will then be given to options, leave clan, or leave clan on x system. Pick the second option, profit. Thanks to the Guardian that figured this out, sorry I don't have your name to credit you!

1 ReplyI get 0 light level on ps4 and I can't load into a destination, it just locks up in the earth view flight. Will this fix that problem too?

Thank you, Just tried it it works had my old xbox account still in the clan, sign in and left then I was able top use my cross save one to load on my xbox and PC without an issue thank you.

Edited by GHG SHELLSHOCK: 6/15/2020 6:11:39 AMWorked for me but we should note that, like me, some have an inactive account clan founder and will be actively without a clan and clan engram on their active account with this work around. Turns out you can change clan founder, so I locked myself out of cross save for nothing.

I have been the one posting the solution, but I found it in a reply in a reddit thread last night. Just figured I would try to spread the wealth. Just glad it was something simple.

1 ReplyCan I get a little help here. I was going to try this out myself but I don’t know if I can. Both the accounts for my Xbox and PlayStation characters link to one account even though they’re under different names. And even if I did find a way to remove my Xbox one, I think it would put us under the clan member limit as we just have a small one for me and a friend who play together. Any ideas?
