**edit** minor issue, it makes some people calling drifter a rat, myself included, uncomfortable (even if by definition of his character it makes sense) as it has had racial connotations in the past against jewish and asian people. Given that The Drifter appears to be an asian character, it may be best to try and use alternatives like "scum", "trash", "filth" etc instead.
To those that feel the need to reply just don't, either educate yourself (which is hard on this particular word so maybe you should just listen to asian voices) or go away. Cause I already loathe this hateful community enough without needing another reminder why.
If I could delete this -blam!-ing topic so I don't get notifications anymore i -blam!-ing would.

Literally tired of this SJW bs these days.

Bungie please ban the OP since he has Poison in his name and poison historically has been used to commit racial mass murder many times in the past. Stop making morality tests that are impossible for even the most virtuous to pass.

If you think the people during the Vietnam war that were being called tunnel rats is considered a slur you are a fool🙄, they were actual heroes doing jobs and most people couldn’t do. New York city sewer system is absolutely full of sewer rats 🙄. As far as ghetto rats basically the same thing. All phrases pertaining to actual rats go figure🙄.

Oh come on. Don't blame the game for utterly unrelated issues you're facing. Try to deal with those issues separately and target the real culprits to progress. A rat is far, far too general, even if in your location it is a 'racial' slur. if anything much more widely used as a term of a betrayal a "snitch", than any other. Even the Kami kaze - PC to the point of stupidity - complaint had more merits than your issue. Find other ways.
-
Exactly OP, it's an aged forgotten term. Us calling Drifter "rat" is NOT the same as previous meaning. Go to your dictionary and look up, "context" you might learn something.

Is this real?

2 RepliesHmmmm I rather think this is a case of you looking for offence were there is none. The word Rat whilst having a lot of meanings (some of which are somewhat undeserved) has never been used as a ratial slur against any one culture, its one of those universal words used to describe many persons of unsavoury character and pretty much used as such by all races.

These “I’m offended” joke posts need to stop.

2 RepliesOne of my neighbors is an artist and he went out and drew this really cool picture of a bluebird on the sidewalk with chalk to help brighten people's day. It took only 3 days for some high and mighty SJW blm prick to go dump water on it then this jack ass walked up to the front door and confronted him. He told him the blue jay is a symbol of repression and white supremacy because it kicks other birds out of their nests and if he drew anything on the sidewalk again there would be serious consequences. Lol. You nut job snowflake SJW weirdos seriously just need to dissapear.
The word rat has a long history of being used against people as an ethnic slur. In recent years it's been forgotten and not many people know (I tried finding sources and didn't get much in the way of results) but I found the terms "tunnel-rats" "sewer-rats" and "ghetto-rats" brought up with many other examples to name a few that given Drifter's appearance being based on an asian man, it may best to simply not call him that anymore.
Team ❄️ checking in I see
muted
