Tribute hall is easily my favorite space and I can spend hours testing builds, perks, weapons, mods in there. After hearing that the leviathan, along with all Y1 locations and Y2 seasonal content, is going away in the fall dlc, I realized that this included the Tribute hall.
So Bungie please give us a training/testing area either in the tower or at the farm. (if it's not going away) If you do create this space, please include different enemy types + champions, ammo crates, targets placed at different ranges, vault, and orb of light generator.

It can go IMO, I went there once or twice after all the unlocking when it was introduced and back then j thought it was a waste of space and effort

3 RepliesIt's going away? Glad I spent no resources on that place whatsoever. Literal waste of time if you decided to do it lmao How does it feel to have your life taken from you chickens?

4 RepliesDelta Bear 010 you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

5 RepliesNo. The whole point is for you to waste time and resources on something that they eventually take away to give back to you to regrind again later. Welcome to the end game.

Actual test dummies would be nice, but that would show how BS "power" is so doubt they allow it.
-
1 ReplyImo Tribute Hall should stay, especially as it was basically a giant resource sink.
-
4 RepliesSince Nessus isn't leaving, I'm hoping that the Tribute Hall will still be available while the rest of the Leviathan is locked down, but Bungie might need to come up with a good lore explanation for how that would work.
-
1 ReplyI thought Nessus was staying ?

5 RepliesEdited by Czech The Oven: 6/11/2020 6:02:14 PMIt was this or D3 But I do agree that there should be some kind of test area afterwards.

They need to put it in the east side of the tower with saint 14 so I can easily do all my testing of guns in one spot.

Edited by Corrick II: 6/12/2020 1:25:19 PMPeople seemed to like the space, and for the amount of effort people put into it, it seems like Bungie should at least provide an alternative if they really are going to remove it. Then again, this is Bungie. They seem fine with taking away everything else players have put a lot of time and effort into.
-
1 ReplyWe put so much time and resources into that place, it's disrespectful that Bungie is just taking all that away. I've never seen developers treat their players like this before.
-
1 Replyhonestly having your own quarters on the tower would be pretty cool.
-
And theres people who bought Silver to Level up the Tribute hall with real money. A very expensive loss to some people.

Good thing I finally got to unlocking the Bad Juju catalyst. Also if the Leviathan area goes away, then how will people who never finished the normal or prestige versions of the Leviathan raids be able to unlock the Belly of the Beast or the Prestige trophies/achievements? Wasn’t there some commotion back before CoO came out when Bungie was going to boost the light level difficulty for the original Leviathan raid? Which would mean that you would need to buy the CoO dlc to be a high enough light level to play the base game’s raid? Which was against PlayStation’s trophy policy to lock trophies that launched with the game to behind paid dlc or something? If Bungie is going to flat out remove the original Leviathan raid, then wouldn’t that sorta recreate that problem?

So much this. That has been a great addition to the game and needs to stay!
-
5 RepliesThe Tribute Hall may be part of Nessus. Nessus is not scheduled to be vaulted this September. You may still have access to it.
-
1 ReplyThe tribute hall is season of opulance content. Forsaken content will still be here so...yea don't even stress about it.
-
Tribute hall shouldn't go especially since we needed to spend bright dust to unlock things
-
Making content is hard. If it wasn't in D1, it's probably not getting made :)
