My friend list is gone
I changed my online name and when I went on everything was fine. Now I can see my friend list its empty and when I try to make a fire in the app and add people it won't let me said my account doesn't exist.

Could be a platform issue. Recommend to reboot the system and post in the Help section to get better answers. Sorry, but there isn't really a lot to be done besides look for solutions.
