Cannot progress in the season of arrivals UMBRAL ENGRAM GLITCH
hi there guys. i started the season of arrivals but had some last bits of shadowkeep to finish.
by the time i finished shadowkeep i have a full 10 umbral engrams in my inventory and no option to dismantle them.
upon finishing the CONTACT event i needed to speak to the drifter. he requires me to accept an umbral engram.. i cannot.
i cannot acces the decoder or recaster. i am completely stuck and cannot find a way to fix this issue

I'm in the same boat. And on top of that my post master is getting full. I had to get rid of a bunch of legendary engrams so that they wouldn't start deleting them. I literally cant open those either because of my umbral engrams being full. I cant even put them in the bank either. [[u]i]Also, I was reading a reddit post about a way around it. You apparently can create a another character. Give that character items to bring up their light level. Then, do the quest with that character.[[/u]/i] Problem is I don't wanna make another character.

1 ReplyAllo there, Bungie are currently investigating this issue. The current work around for now is to use an alternate character. Once you get to the stage of unlocking the decoder, you can get use your main character to decode the ones you have in your inventory and then take the drifters one.
