So... what’s with the giant floating eyeballs?
I was doing the Sanctum of Bones Lost Sector and just as I was leaving, I noticed a giant floating eyeball. Can’t really do damage to it, it kinda just floats there watching you while also being kinda creepy.

4 RepliesSimilar to the eggs in Dreaming City and the crystals in the Lumina quest strike - you need to destroy them with a specific weapon. It's basically just a recycled game mechanic, like everything else in Destiny 2 nowadays.

Probably need to shoot them with the new exotic trace rifle will be needed to shoot them. Similar to how the Corrupted eggs all over Dreaming city require you to use Wishender bow to break.

savathuns eyes there is 50 of them

They are called "Savathuns Eyes", there are 50 of them (I believe) and you can only shoot them with a "specific" weapon. There is a challenge for it also.

They are literally everywhere, one of the running theories i’ve seen and my personal belief as well is that that is how Savathun is watching us

First thing I did was to shoot it without asking any questions... nothing happened. I guess I'm a trigger happy idiot. Now that you have asked the question? Yes, what are these and tbh they look like balls but I did not associate them to eyeballs maybe because I am open minded about balls...

I saw one on mercury in one of the statues hands the first statue on the left when leaving the infinite forest
