Maybe it’s broken in PvE, but I think it is a viable and intriguing weapon to use in PvP. Makes it so people can compete with a different, unique loadout.

How they nerfed it this season is just ridiculous. People calling it a crutch & saying it should be nerfed are nothing but Sally’s & it sucks Bungie listens to them & just trashed a bunch of weapons this season . Feels like we lost a hell of a lot more than we gained in this extremely lame last two seasons .

It's free grenades in PvP that's abused for zoning. It's broken and will get nerfed and rightfully so. You'll just move on to the next crutch anyway.
-
1 ReplyIt's a trash crutch weapon that bad players will continue to use even after they get catalist. It will take months, a nerf or another op trash exotic to get them to move on. Bungie doesn't think before they do. Maybe it's a desperate attempt to reclaim player base because of obvious failures in content. Whatever the reason, all it does is push people off.

Not OP in pvp just annoying because everyone working on catalyst.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Systamatik: 6/11/2020 5:37:35 PMEveryone is using it because they are trying to get the Catalyst. That is not grounds for a nerf. I would like to see a hostile pool show red instead of blinking red and blue.

21 RepliesYou like your new no skill crutch huh?

4 RepliesEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 6/11/2020 7:20:22 AMWouldn't worry too much, there's literally no reason to touch it. Played quickplay for hours where lotta folks were spamming it everywhere and died to it once or twice because wasn't paying attention. The projectile is so slow you'll have jumped out of the floor radius by the time it lands and first tick would've hit. I think there's no air hitbox for it either, you literally have to stand in it to be damaged. So it's very easy to jump over. Normal grenade launchers are better for damage, it's basically a pure zoning tool. Direct hits aren't even a consideration with how hard they are to hit. Just use a shottie / sniper / MT instead for same, easier results. Is someone actually complaining about it?

1 ReplyIt has ruined PvP I’m not a crazy sweat ether. However I am just not able to see the point in why they did this. I like when it takes skill if I loose then fine. Now it’s unrelenting cheaters or lobbies that are a circus. Maybe some weapons should not be in PvP I don’t know. They fixed the hard light quickly I hope the see of lava gets fixed soon. Depressed

7 RepliesNo no no... It's LITERALLY broken. It LITERALLY deals an entire boss's healthbar worth of damage in one shot and it's not intended to do so.
-
1 ReplyNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edited by HATDOGGYDOG: 6/12/2020 5:48:13 AMThe guns extremely gimmicky and people are only using it to get the catalyst done. It’ll die down just like how arbalest and scout rifles died down when they had crucible quests. If it gets nerfed it’ll be because of PVE, not PVP, like majority of nerfs bungie does. I don’t understand why people are trying to start this narrative of guns getting nerfed because of PvP.

Wasn't unstagibbing strike, new event, and story bosses. In what instance does it do this huge damage I keep hearing about.
-
1 ReplyIf they’re gonna nerf it least they can do is wait till I have my 100 guardian eliminations
-
6 RepliesEdited by Pred: 6/11/2020 1:38:09 PMI don’t understand, it’s not even that good in pvp. Mountaintop is exponentially better.
-
2 RepliesIt’s hilarious. This is exactly what Bungie should do every now and again, a ridiculously over powered weapon given to everybody to have some fun with. I was in crucible last night and half the map was covered in death at any one time. A great laugh. Cheers Bungie.

But I like watching someone trying to rush with a shotgun. They either have to risk going through the puddles and risk getting cleaned up by a sidearm or fight from a distance.
-
they just need to make it more noticeable when it's an enemies blight
-
1 ReplyGive me a more noticable hostile indicator and let me shoot them to break them.
-
1 ReplyIt won’t be nerfed but it’s definitely broken and needs a fix. It shouldn’t be insta killing raid bosses
-
Eventual nerf incoming
-
1 ReplyYes because one shot weapons are always viable in pvp. Let me guess you think shotguns are OP
-
The only reason people are calling it op at the moment because the usage if it is very high. Its a new exotic with a quest to get kills with it in Pvp for the catalyst so of course the usage is going to be high. For example: if everyone started using another exotic all of as sudden i think people would start to say that's op.

Edited by OBI-SWEDE KENOBI: 6/11/2020 8:35:01 PMWhat the hell are you talking about!? They should not only nerf the hell out of it they should forbid its presence in crucible. Spent 4 games playing lava, jumping around trying avoiding the pudels. If crucible was broken before it is even more so now.

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
It will get nerfed Probably the damage over time will get cut in half Shame though,it’s fun seeing raid bosses die so fast -
Having the pvp part is dumb with any weapon that kills over time. Such a pita to get kills.
-
1 ReplyIt's not broken people are just complaining. Sucks in pvp unless your dumb n stand n it and if ya did well ya deserve to b killed by the gl. As far as pve so what it's fun as hell.
