Full inventory of Umbral Engrams blocks progression

So I've discovered that if you collect 10 Umbral Engrams [i]before[/i] collecting the one Drifter gives to you to progress the new Seasonal questline,it effectively locks you out as you cannot collect the Umbral Engram from him. There is no option to delete Umbral Engrams, you cannot transfer them to another character, and you cannot put them into the vault.
This has effectively locked one of my characters out of this season since, at the moment, Umbral Engrams cannot disappear until the end of the season.

3 RepliesHi there, Thanks for your report. This quest is account-based and not tied to specific characters. If you can progress the quest to the point that you unlock the decoder with an alternate character then you'll be able to decrypt the engrams in your original character's inventory.

1 ReplyBump. Please upvote this since it's annoying. And for all of you saying the cure is just not to be stupid, please don't. THis is not stupid. You get these engrams from random activities. So if I'm playing pvp for 4 hours, my inventory is going to fill up

1 ReplyUse an alternate character. You only have to unlock the decoder once, so after you complete the quest step with another character you should be able to decode all engrams with your main.
