You can customize the sprint in the controller settings... select custom on button layout and from there you can choose toggle sprint or hold sprint. You can even reset the entire controller settings to whatever input setting you want in case you use mirror, green thumb, bumper jumper, etc

7 RepliesEdited by FireSupport72: 6/11/2020 12:37:13 AMHi Buddy, just a little honest feedback....Yesterday, I was on the forum for hours suggesting this to many a player. However, I have tried doing this just now and the game play IS FARKED. No way close to what it used to be for the last 6 years! The gentle push down & hold to run has been replaced by applying enormous pressure on the thumbstick to do the same thing. It can be done but it is not consistent and it FARKING HURTS applying that much pressure just to run and jump a gap (think Dreaming City). Worse, trying to change directions or even jump / jet simply ends sprint, resulting in a stop-run-walk-stop-run-walk-fall into hole scenario. This is because constant pressure cannot be maintained when changing directions consistently. Thanks buddy, you and I have tried to help but the game play is only 50% as fluid as it used to be.

Doesn't work. Makes the rest of the gameplay and movement very difficult when you're committed to holding down one button for eternity. Don't suggest something if you haven't tried it yourself. That's not a fix for the problem.
