Game breaking bug! Weapons won't fire on console
There is game breaking bug on consoles reported on PS4 and Xbox one regarding the new button mapping feature. The default L2 to Add and R2 to fire does not work on most weapons. As you can see from the video, upon pressing R2 to fire the animation on Sunshot is prompted but does not fire off. This goes for mountaintop and multiple other weapons. The only work around is to map fire button on any other button but this means the controls you committed to muscle memory is gone. This is absolutely game breaking. Kindly respond with fix ASAP!
FYI have tried multiple controllers (all original PS4 controllers from Sony) on other games for troubleshooting, controller shown in video is working fine. On D2 if I mirror the controller set up, weapons can be fired off. Tried all weapon slots across all characters. Nothing works.

Yeah I have the same issue, my weapons fires only one time out of 5 for some reason. I guess its bungie's way to say "Hey look now you can put custom inputs, cool right ? Oh btw you cannot shoot anymore see ya". Its driving me crazy to be honest that such elementary thing was not tested before release....

Does not work for any rocket launchers. New Grenade launcher, crimson. Works with bows, jotunn, hardlight. Telesto. Hope this gets rectified soon.

Having the same issue. The only workaround I found is to turn ON the Default Swap Shoulder Button Layout. Not a big deal but definitely not fun adjusting. Please resolve as soon as possible. Thank you.
