How Do You Delete Umbral Engrams?
Reply if you can or not please.

20 RepliesEdited by Kilroy: 6/10/2020 6:09:53 AMJust tested and this works!! THERE IS A WORKAROUND!!! 1. Log onto a second character. 2. As soon as you set foot on Io, return to orbit. 3. Head to earth, and spawn near the drifter. 4. Talk to the drifter 5. He will have an abandoned quest for the umbral engram. 6. Take the quest, and you should receive an umbral engram and be able to decode it. 7. Once the engram is decoded, log back to your first character. 8. You should now be able to decode your engrams on your first character. Hope that helps!

5 RepliesMy son can not decrypt. His engram slots are full, and he can't complete the drifter quest to unlock the umbral engram decryptor. He doesn't have a 2nd character created, so he'd need to start from scratch and do the whole campaign all over again, just to do the proposed workaround. Please help Bungie. Make umbral engrams able to be dismantled.

He had a problem at 1st because he had the max number of embral engrams, But the decryptor was not yet unlocked. Then he couldn't pick one up from the drifter because he was carrying the max. He just needed to complete the quest to unlock the decryptor. Thank you for checking back!

I started getting them through strikes and now I'm finally talking to Drifter and my inventory is full and I can't complete the quest of the current season because I can't take the umbral engram drifter gave me and I curtaintly can't decide them without taking the umbral engram that Drifter is offering. And at that, I can't delete past umbral engram either so now I'm stuck. Please Bungie fix this!
