Exo Stranger voice actor no Lauren Cohan?! :(
Hearing the Exo stranger it sounded like same voice actor who does voice for ominous woman in reckoning. I wish Bungie would have brought Lauren Cohan back would have been nice to have a bit of starpower from Destiny 1 return with such an important character to Destiny. Especially since losing Cayde and Nate Fillions brilliant voice work and one of the more charismatic characters in Destiny. Bring Lauren back for Exo Stranger would be a nice connection between D1 and 2 and keeping with continuity.

pretty sure its Moira Quirk who did the voice for karliah in skyrim. she has a very similar voise to lauren but i like Moira's voice better

I noticed too that it seems like they switched the voice actress for the awoken females too or am I just hearing wrong? I wanted to know if the voice caress changed because I like this new voice a lot more for some reason

I'd rather have the money they undoubtedly save going toward paying developers to make the game. Honestly at the end of the day, the character voices are a smaller part of the experience.

the voice for ana bray has changed too. the new voice actor sounds less up and excited, less hyperactive. in fact she sounds far too matter of fact and calm. i replayed the warmind campaign, and it was most notable in the end part where she translates what rasputin says and then says dont worry we got this. but i first noticed on injection rig events.

The former is probably more likely.

2 RepliesI think they just couldn't get her back or she denied. At least it's not like For Honor where almost all of the original voice actors are gone so we can't get any new dialogue lol
