As soon as the update for New Light launched, my game recently stopped working. My game lets me log in, but as soon as I'm in orbit, my light level is 0, my card is black, and my ship is gone. Whenever I try to go anywhere, I'm stuck staring at the earth. Please help!

I can also confirm this I was able to unlink my account from steam and console and it fixed my issue, however, now I can not play my steam characters (which are my characters that I have all my progress on) on my console with my friends that play on Xbox. I had to re-authenticate my steam account and it appears to have fixed everything, but now I have to wait 90 days to relink my account to use my steam account characters on my Xbox I need to be allowed to relink my accounts so I have access to the characters that I want to play. Please Bungie help out with this.

Still not working for me.. I even cleared the cache as suggested with no luck. I also deleted the game and re-installed it from scratch (109 GB of data) with no luck. I don't want to deactivate cross-save to resolve the issue because the 90 day cross-save rule. If Bungie will let us deactivate cross-save to resolve the issue then allow us to apply cross-save again immediately then this could help a lot of people.

If you have cross save, other people have gotten it to work by going back to play on the console where the account was originally. That’s the only fix right now. I’m in exactly the same situation, not a word has been said in 24 hours which is absolutely ridiculous considering the time and money players spend on this game.

1 ReplyMy cross save ps4 account and old Xbox account were apart of the same clan. I kicked my Xbox account and it worked. I can now play my cross save account on xbox.
