Look I'm all hyped for all the new content but I've been thinking recently about the "vaulting" of old stuff
I'm not against it
However what I am against is the removal of the 3 free campaigns that new light players get. Unless Bungie has a plane that they haven't shared yet, new light players will be left with two planets and the crucible to play with
New light as of writing this already has hundreds of hours of free content, both PvP and PvE. A lot of this comes from the campaign's as well as the raids, however by removing them you essentially leave free to play players with a slightly more chunky version of the beta from all the way back before D2 launched
I'd love to hear if Bungie has a plan for this or if it's just gonna be "the way it is"

1 ReplyI expect that the Forsaken and Forsaken Annual Pass content will replace the Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind campaigns as the new New Light experience on September 22 when Beyond Light launches.

1 ReplyYea, I agree. I believe Forsaken and it's AP will replace Y1.

4 RepliesI think it's more insulting to those who paid for the base game and expansions to be told that we can no longer play those campaigns or visit those planets. It's made even worse due to a lot of the "new" content just being recycled from D1.
