Trigger stops on controller don't work for certain weapon types
As the title says. I've learned that only certain weapon types are affected.
Weapons that don't work with trigger stops:
Hand cannons
Autos
Rockets
Pulse rifles
Sidearms
Snipers
Machine gun
Breech grenade launcher
Scout rifles
Weapons that do work with trigger stops:
Shotguns
Fusion rifles
Swords
Bows
I will update as I test all weapon classes

I have this same issue with the Xbox one elite controllers when using, Weapons and The Sparrow.

Not sure if anyone seen this but here is link to update about the fix. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/256301775/0/0 Looks like won’t be fixed until 6/22 update.

I thought it was just me. I was on my sparrow and I could not get off. Eventually with perseverance I was able to get off, but also could not fire rocket launcher for a while either. Thought it was my controller or something. On PS4 too.

3 RepliesI'm on PS4 and using Dualshock conroller and experiencing the same issues with primary, energy and Heavy slots. Only weapons that work for me is Shotguns, Bows, HMG and Fusion Rifles. Tried swaping (AR/SMG/Sniper/Rocket Launcher/GL/SA/HC) after testing weapons that worked and still no luck. Noticed HC/SA would show animation of trigger but nothing else. Just logged off as I finished writing this as I give up.

1 ReplyIt's not the only game that has these issues (it's not really an issue). You have to program your controller to react faster, means you have to pull down the trigger less.

Got similar issues, can’t use any single fire weapons , AR’s, SMG’s, SA’s are fine but pretty much anything else won’t fire when using trigger lock although you can can see animation on a guns trigger pull. Using Xbox Elite controller, works if lock is off, all was fine till update, a speedy fix would be much appreciated, cheers.
