Sprint toggle is broken please fix immediately
Adding new custom button layouts is great and all but you made it so i cant play the game the way i have been playing since 2014.
Before this update i would spam my left thumbstick while i was sprinting or after i got done sliding and now when you click the sprint button again it stops your sprint. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE revert these changes. Its stopping how i have played for over 6 years.

4 Repliesi agree, this needs to be addressed asap. this basically negates the way i've been playing destiny 2 for years. i was so excited to use my new bow, but really this sprint issue made it impossible for me to enjoy playing the game i really hope this is fixed soon. it's a new season and i want to play, the way i like to and always have ^^

they put all this thought into making the controller settings customizable WHY would you not give the option to revert sprint toggle to the old settings??!?!?!?! or am i missing something

Yes please revert to original Sprint settings or give us a option I'm the new controller menu too. This is making playing borderline unplayable. I thought my controller was broken. Its muscle memory since D1 to SPAM sprint, and this is getting me killed and missing jumps. Was there a issue before? I can't think of a reason to switch this

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one who noticed this. I hopped on after the new season dropped and now everytime I click the right joy stick it stops running. I can't just spam it freely like I'm used to without it stopping constantly. If this goes on any longer I literally will not be able to play the game at all

There is also a Top Tree Defender Bug were you pop your super as a Bubble but it activates it as a Shield instead and sends you to the director menu and with the sprint bug it’s impossible to maintain movement speed because the slightest rock bumps you up and you have to repress sprint it screws you over in dire situations in a raid or solo nightfalls ect.

2 RepliesFor anyone who hasn't already figured it out. Go to button layout and create custom. Remove the binding for toggle sprint. Add binding for hold sprint and change action to press. You'll also have to change any other buttons to match your preferred preset.

I played for an hour thinking my controller has broken, or that I need to reboot the XBOX, or that Bungie made the console versions even slower... Eventually figured out the additional clicks (when spamming the sprint to run and get the shoulder charge procced) take you out of sprint. Messed about with new controller settings and the options are HOLD to sprint (SUCKS!) or TOGGLE (SUCKS!). So , all-in-all, my thoughts about the now season so far? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

This, i have a pro controller so I can jump/sprint/slide/switch weapons/look around without picking up my fingers and this update completely ruined my muscle memory, I’ll think I’m about to land and slide around a corner but I just sit there and pop a barricade

Or not at all? Given the amount of salt I'm reading, I think I know the answer but don't wanna jump to any conclusions.
