Same thing for me on Xbox. I've tried checking everything for weasel error code, and other games work fine, so not my internet connection.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Every single season we encounter the same instability. The reveal hyped us all but the game is unplayable. 10k in queue. Fix your game Bungo!!!!!

same problem hear yesterday seance the season began a cant play any activity not evem stay in the tower every 10 sec some times it let me play 10 or 20 minutes but every time contacting destiny server and kicks me and friends

seeing exactly this everywhere. also, trying to do anything such as switch weapons in inventory, or access stuff in the vault or send to vault, try to get bounties from vendors, and it takes 1-2 SECONDS to do anything, while hanging through those seconds with both items youre swapping missing entirely in the inventory view, making you worried to do that at all in case the game dies and you lose your fully masterworked 1000 level autorifle AND crimson with over 100000 kills on forever in some network lag glitch. there were not as many players on according to steam as at the launch of shadowkeep so why the issues? and to add insult to injury the game randomly told me the servers were momentarily going down for maintenance as if that was about to start rather than nearly done?

Contacting Destiny Servers for about 5 minutes straight. Played Gambit for an hour did not complete any bounties, did not progress the clan xp, and the pinnacle drops are lower than my current power level. Kinda expected more of the same as last season. Oh and don't forget the bounties, love em. The game is starting to feel like a part time job. Going back to Fallout New Vegas until Bungo gets this mess cleaned up.

In middle of survival then contacting destiny 2 servers then it said match finished so I returned to orbit then it said I’m suspended from survival for leaving before the game finished

Edited by The Fool: 6/9/2020 8:34:34 PMjust when I thought the issue had been resolved after not getting the 'contacting yadda yadda' message for a whopping 10 mins, I got kicked out of a winning cruicible match with an anteater.. just when i was on a kill streak with the new grenade launcher... and i hate grenade launchers ..

Iam on pc and from the UK maintenance should have COMPLETED by now but the game constantly is disconnecting

Same problem for me. Can't complete one activity or even run across the Tower map without losing connection multiple times. I had anticipated this, based on how shitty the last season's start was with connection issues, and have been running a wired connection, but the issue is worse than ever.

Same, got bounced to orbit, couldn’t find a match for my fire team, error code newt, then kicked to front screen and a “pardon out dust” message saying something about maintenance to being shortly. All the whisky getting constant “contacting destiny 2 servers” messages every few seconds

I'm getting this too. Constant contacting servers and then it shoots me back out to Orbit. Contacting servers continues to pop every five seconds while in Orbit.

Just got a guitar, a couple of newts, then a DOC message about maintenance before being kicked to the Title screen.

Have the same issue since logging in after updating. About 20mins after first launching the game I got kicked off with an error saying there was a maintenance, 5mins later I was able to log back in, but still it would keep saying 'contacting servers' and every 10-15 mins I get kicked out with allsorts of error codes. chicken, beaver, anteater, etc..
