1 Replyyes, lets never evolve, keep things the same way for 3 more years! no evolution! Then allow us to complain about said lack of evolution! This makes complete sense!

Love events were not bad, time consuming but really cool at the end. But it raised a while lot of questions
-
Only thing I didn’t like about this one was that we only got a 24 hour heads up, but it was still cool to watch and I’m glad I could still get the emblem.

Ehhhh shut the -blam!- up

4 RepliesCan people stop being so negative, its literally their first live event!
-
14 RepliesA cut scene would have been so much better. That "event" was seriously boring.
-
You didn’t have to watch it

I disagree, I like the whole thing. The explosions, the skybox and the explosions and the nice emblem at the end. Stuff like that is nice, obviously the one and only thing that messed up the whole experience was how long it all took. So the next time bungie makes something like this again, all they have to do is reduce the event to no more than 5-10 minutes. Maybe an extra reward apart from an emblem would be nice like a shader or a free enhancement core lol. Its a once in a lifetime event anyway so a little more loot would be nice.

-blam!- right off

It was their first one and they’re working from home. Chill.

21 RepliesDatto and Say No To Rage both on twitter praising the shit out of it. Those guys must get mad kickback from Bungie.

Yea, I hate it too when interesting things are happening.

1 ReplyI think since this was their first live event we should give them the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't a terrible live event, it could've gone way worse. I thought it was bugged at first when the missiles were just stuck right there by the Almighty. The event went on way too long, twenty minutes would have been better, I liked the build up of the missiles heading towards the Almighty, but not a freaking hour thirty minutes build up. A thirty minute, or twenty minutes, build up would have been better. But it was cool to see the Almighty fall. I just wish that there would've been pieces of the wreckage spread through the EDZ and we could pick up an exotic quest from a part of the Almighty's wreckage.
-
Nah let them do it. Just remember to not show up to the event and let other people record it for us.
-
16 RepliesIgnore this person. Do this as much as possible. HOWEVER Do not announce any of the live event stuff. Leave hints, and let the community discover. Your PR team is terrible, assign them latrine dutty,

Its just one of those you had to be there moments from bunjo i was on the edge of my seat pmsl at those who sat there watching it. Each to there own i suppose lol.
-
Disagree, they could've been better - sure - but I like the idea and hope they do more; especially on the scale of this one. Pretty sure half a million people agree with me too, based on the Twitch numbers I've been hearing.

Waaagh

Complaining to complain.

1 ReplyI didn't watch it live, have watched a couple og YouTube vids that summed it all up in 10mins. The premise is good, but, it definitely didn't seem to warrant the 90-120mins people are saying it took. How bout having live reactions in the tower from Zavala and co, as in have them run to the side the Almighty went down, some sort of dialogue. Or, Zavala pops him bubble over some civilians about to get hit by debris (have one of them a fallen over child for extra dramatic effect). The tower got hit, why were no NPCs over inspecting the damage, discussing repairs etc? Why was ghost not saying anything during it? Surely there should have been some sort of dialogue there? With the almighty as big as it is, and every asteroid doomsday movie out there, wouldn't something that large have caused far more damage to the planet than that shockwave? The size, speed it hit etc, look like life as we know it would be over.

11 RepliesThe waiting could have been far less but the destruction of the Almighty was cool as hell. Quit crying.

Edited by CookieNiki: 6/7/2020 4:28:24 PMIt was the first attempt and the only letdown was the huge amount of time it took, that sometimes made it feel like a "dead" event and like the worst live event ever. With that said, I guess they went for realism and probably that's understandable but imo it would've been much more effective if the event took between 15 to 20 minutes. I wish they keep doing it and improve with this one experience.
-
2 RepliesGive them a break. For a first time event it was fine. Yes it was a little longer than it should have been but they have the feedback and will improve. This community can be so amazing but there are people who are a cancer to it.

It was their first try at live events
