I like the Lore books and Myelin Games is great for bringing stories together to discuss single topics.

While the Lie’s conclusion did have a nice bit opening up about Felwinter’s past, I was giddy when I found we would get even more when slaying away with his shotgun. Hopefully, Bungie will delve into more of past history when they release the next season seeing as how the Traveler’s oldest nemesis is coming to greet us.

I choose C. None of the above. I’m just here to say dumb shit and laugh at said dumb shit.

I kinda do both. I like to read sometimes, to get some ideas and for fun (i love the one of the hive on the moon, of the 3 brothers), but i watch byf for a good time, something simple and relaxing. And dear god, his voice is so good to hear.
-
-blam!- no. I don’t give a crap
-
Not anything against Byf. Or any other youtubers. They’re great and provide a different view that one might not see otherwise; but I prefer to read the lore books, tabs, grimoire, flavour texts, transcripts etc and make my own theories through that. It’s important to have a mix of both. Especially for those of us that theorise on the lore.

2 RepliesEverything, lore books lore tabs lore cards you name it people who just watch byf are really missing out. He knows his shit but at the same time, you gotta make you're own theories and opinions guys
-
Heh, the replies in here really tell ya what kinda person they are. I read the books and tabs on items so I can know as much as possible ‘bout what’s happening and why.

9 RepliesLore Books are the worst. Really would like that story in the game or told during the game or in on cutscenes. But reading thousands of lines....ultra boring. If I'd like to read I'd grab a book.
-
5 RepliesI read a shit ton of lore and love the cinematic storytelling experience that My Name Is Byf provides to the Destiny Community. If you're looking for some crazy stories from this universe Byf has most of it archived in his videos but there are definitely a lot of stories you'll miss out on as well if you only rely on Byf.

12 RepliesNot just lore books, the lore tabs on weapons, armor, ships and so on too.

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 ReplyIs lore good?

1 ReplyI never learned how to read or write

I read them but then I watch byf for his interpretation

Edited by SoINinja: 6/5/2020 9:19:45 PMI totally read them! Whenever I've completed whatever I needed for the week, I read those often. Usually using the companion app for it. _______________________________ I get lost in the incredible lore that is in Destiny. I LOVE IT! _______________________________ EDIT: Fixed whatever I needed to... Again.

I usually watch a YouTube video. My absolute dream would be someone to narrate them and you can play them as you do patrol etc

Edited by Ace of Solo Grinding : 6/5/2020 7:52:28 PMI read them when I'm waiting to load into an activity. Man with No Name is my favorite so far.

Hell NO... it’s just a video game I play with friends. I couldn’t care less who, what, when, where, how and why things are the way it is. Why should I nerd out on useless info that has no use for.
-
Neither, just don’t care
