(No pun intended)
But seriously, I’ve played the game enough, and if I can enjoy the game with the default starter pistol after putting ~1 1/2 hours into the weapon then you can make new weapons and perks. I can use just about any weapon in warframe, with the exception of 5-6 out of 436 weapons. Most characters can function in end-game, 41 of them. Yet you can’t convince us to stop using weapons because YOU lack the ability to properly produce and manage a game and it’s player base. The warlock 3% usage rate is also a good example of this.

Edited by Ubisuccle: 6/5/2020 6:17:38 PMBro honestly how much Warframe have you played? From your post I assume you just started so let me explain a few things about that game. 1) There is no endgame. This stems from the fact that the power creep is insane and once you get a decent setup on a weapon or frame you can get to lv100-lv150 fairly easily. Specifically with the newer items. Its extremely similar to how Destiny was last year where everything is about speed clearing rather than challenge. Warframe players have complained about that for years, and DE has pushed out higher lever (and half baked) content continuously and all of it gets immediately stomped with ease 2) The games are not a 1 to 1 comparison. Warframe is its own monster whilst Destiny is similar in ways, however it also pulls a lot from Borderlands. Most of Warframe is a material/blueprint/mod grind. If they had sunsetting the amount of content would be ridiculously small. Borderlands is primarily a weapons grind. Destiny hybridizes this where mats and guns are farmed. Borderlands also has leveled gear like any other RPG, and you do have to grind the same guns multiple times. Basically I can see why we have the sunsetting, we had it in D1 and it worked. I wish there was a way to bring gear forward similar to HoW tied to endgame. That would incentivize running raids or going flawless.

4 RepliesWarfarme is a good game But for others it’s not You people fighting over if it’s good or not What you want a cookie for winning a argument

Wadframe was fun for a while. Then the repetitive gameplay and grinding kinda killed it for me. I do wish destiny weapon building would have been more like warframe, but as far as story, strikes, pvp, and all other pve content, destiny comes out on top.

2 RepliesAnyone play pso2?

I like to believe one reason Warframe has never implemented sunsetting is because they keep creating new mods and mechanics that completely change the way a weapon will act. These new mods literally give you a new weapon from your old weapons and it’s refreshing to have an entirely new build because of one simple mod. You guys know what mods are synonymous to in Destiny? Perks. The perks on your gun are the main reason you continue to use said gun. Warframe actively comes up with new “perks” for their weapons and it renews interest in old weapons. If Bungie wanted an alternative to sunsetting they’d focus less on weapons and more on perks, the main reason we use the weapons we use.

1 ReplyWhile warframe is fun for a long time. When it gets dull. It gets really dull.

Warframe has horrendous power creep
-
Meh, Warframe sucks, because Warframe just plain sucks.

2 RepliesAs much as I love warframe I hate to admit I'm too powerful and thus i get bored fast. I turned trinity prime into a queen if armor stripping rather than the stupid energy vampire build. But I'd like a middle ground where things are hard but can be overcomed with determination. Destiny just makes bullet sponges at this point Warframe makes content too strong then you become too strong.

Warframe is better than this garbage.

5 RepliesThe warframe pvp meta is dominated by ignis. The Warframe PvE meta is literally always dominated and it's to the point where weapons are so horribly powercrept. Yeah I can mod a nikana prime to work in Arbitrations. It takes a lot less effort to get a gram prime to that level. Or a Plague Kripath zaw. Remember how Nikana Prime became the undisputed best melee? Then it became the Galatine Prime. And the Plague Kripath Polearms. And then Gram Prime? And now polearms again? Remember how Catchmoon was over half of all secondary weapon usage in the MR20s? Remember how Tigris Prime made every other primary irrelevant? And then Arca Plasmor went and did the same thing? Warframe Players AREN'T using different shit 24/7 any more than D2 crucible players are.

6 RepliesWarframe devs look like they enjoy making their game and enjoy interacting with the community.

2 RepliesHonestly, Warframe has been greater than destiny 2. Warframe is a free game. Warframe has better mechanics. Warframe doesn't have their servers offline every month. You get it.
-
4 RepliesI haven’t played Warframe much. Do the weapons in that game have perks?
-
The games are completly different. Weapons can be customized to be overpowered. Even the MK-1 weapons have op builds.(however not useful in endgame) Destiny 2 has random rolls, ornaments, shaders and a very select few mods to customize.
-
What they do is that DE will dictate what weapons are meta by nerfing others. For instance, if you look at the meta 3 years ago it is completely different to what you have now. While you can still use them they are not as viable. And this is the reason why there is really no excitement when new weapons come out, Warframe is not in a good spot right now, they have lost most of their content creators, they have massive issues when releasing new content with bugs, play-ability, etc... they are in a bit of a situation at the moment, not a place to look for answer IMO. I mean, there are so many weapons I loved and I had to stop using because they became bad, like the Brakk, Tigris Prime, etc... and while some are now being buffed and are more usable you, maybe unknowingly have stopped using it. My most recent example will be my beloved Zenistar... absolutely useless now.
The warlock 3% usage rate is also a good example of this.
Excuse me, what? Someone explain this in detail.

I hear warframe is not a good example

4 RepliesI like how 90% of the replies are just “lul warframe sucks” and completely disregards the point OP was making.. either because they never played or they have no better rebuttal to defend this game with.

3 RepliesIf Warframe were a prime example of anything, we would all be playing it. We are not all playing it. Hence, Warframe is not a prime example of anything.
