Why do they have different names? I Googled it and got the exact same descriptions for both perks. Are they both the same thing with different titles or is there actual difference in what they do?

Freehand Grip is a mod. Hipfire Grip is a perk. You can put a Freehand Grip mod on a gun that has Hipfire Grip.
