Are Crucible/Vanguard tokens going away? Please give us fair warning
You guys hinted that we need to get what we wanted from the current vendors. I don't really have anything in there I care to grind for, so I have over 10,000 tokens for Shaxx. Are these tokens going away or will they be relevant next season?

4 RepliesWhile we currently don’t know, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

1 ReplyKnowing Bungie if they did remove them or make them obsolete they wouldn't tell us until like 1-2 days before it happened. They did this several times during D1. Just strait up made certain types of upgrade materials useless with practically zero warning.

I have 5k. Remember when they got rid of planet tokens you could still redeem them. Just not earn them. I still have some that I can redeem

They're not. Next season, the Cryptarch, Shaxx, Zavala, Crucible matches, strikes, and Gambit activities will all have the same weapon loot pool. They're doing this to give players more outlets to get random drops from. So say, for instance, you've been burning legendary shards trying to get a Dire Promise from Cryptarch all season but had no luck. Next season you'll be able to waste your tokens on Shaxx and Zavala for the same purpose.

2 RepliesIt wasn't a hint.... It was stated, there is a list of weapons being retired from vendors, if you dont have them but want them, then go get them.... Simples bud........ As for crucible tokens, I have 30k plus. Not bothered if they go, but there was no mention or hint they were going..........

Tokens aren't going away, but anything half decent you can get out of them will.

As far as we know tokens are not going away, just guns and armor.
