Can you guys seriously remove the useless Advertisements, The banner that blocks the screen, etc...
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm fed up with loading into the game and every time we do we see Trials being advertised, a hackers account recovery cheating game mode this company invited with open arms with their P2P new light system, that it's pouring into other parts of the game like Gambit.

Hacking is up to 50% if not more right now.
Then there are things like advertising Ornerments for weapons as if I want my game interrupted to go Ooh! look at that shiny thing! that is set up for new lights so they will think "I must have that" 🤦♂️

Also, how many times does it take for us to ask to (remove the banners) in both Gambit and crucible that is blacking the screen?
I get it, wanting to make money selling items for the game, it's business but the shop in our directory should be enough. Seriously, When I look at things like how you complained about not having enough resources for the last 2+ years, you thought it was a good idea to waste time and resources putting the shop in our directory [b](when you could have created something else that was actually useful for us to use in the directory?)[/b]
Please stop with the nonsense with things you add to this game. Enough is enough, you don't "need" to keep shoving things in our face. It's in our directory, our emails, this forum, and interrupting our game while playing.
Edit: A solution to this would be to have the option to opt-out with certain things in the game. We can do this with story missions, being able to skip it. Even when it comes to explaining to us about the game in orbit should be an option to opt-out.
Edit: 1. Another thing that should be fixed that is an annoying issue after going on 6 years of being an issue. Material that doesn't stack, that stacks in our postmaster having us delete them one at a time. Please have all the material stack in our inventory or at least an all delete option.
Edit: 2. This isn't about one thing, it's about many things that are not being fixed making players frustrated. Take this for an example and it's been going on for almost 6 years now.

1 ReplyI recently started playing again, for free ofc I would have paid if I was interested in running heroic lost sectors, or spending 3/4th of my time going from one NPC to another, but I am really not, and this hamster wheel of bounties and power is clearly no incentive, especially for players who don’t play 24/7 or prepare for seasons. Anyway I found hilarious how right after getting Felwinter’s Lie (always very exciting content to change the clock of my psn and go kill 1000 thralls at EP!), I go to orbit, and I get this big adv: “you can buy the ornament at eververse.” It’s like being in my car at the traffic light and getting harassed by a person wanting to clean my window after I get out of the car wash. I’d be more interested in buying an emote where I can middle finger Rahol, or more imaginative stuff.

3 RepliesEdited by Calliibrations: 5/30/2020 11:16:52 PMAgreed, the rank up banners for crucible/gambit are most annoying but the weapon ornament ones do feel a bit cheap, like "hey you earned this weapon in paid content, spend more to get this reskin for it" I would also appreciate being able to turn off certain banners, don't need one every Friday telling me that Trials is back. As for the updates where they're telling us there's new content, it'd be nice to instead just put something in the director, like how they had before the pursuits tab for a majority of quests in the director. It's a small thing but screen clutter does get annoying

1 ReplyIt would be nice to see quality of life changes, but thats not Bungie's primary goal atm, their current goal is to create a perpetual drip feed of content without actually creating or putting much effort into content. I don't mind sunsets, but whats the point of removing something... just to create a carrot on a stick situation to regrind all those sunset items again, it only serves to waste time. But thats not the topic just an issue of it. Quality of life changes would definitely be nice, like toggle option to dismantle blues, edit the opacity/disable/etc for rank up banners. Fast travel points to new activity/activity hubs. Thats just the tip of the iceberg for what I can think of. Sadly though the forum is not the place to post any positive or unbiased feedback or criticism. The forum is like Twitter, just full of angry people who have more time to belittle others than to do anything else, there are good people and posts from time to time, but majority of people on the forums are toxic on both sides and are disgruntled and backlashing their anger on people they know they can get the attention of. Which is also why Bungie prefers to "listen" to streamers more often than not. Since its only a single professional person rather than hundreds of angry and disgruntled people.

I do get the rest of it though. They really should have vault access in orbit for those who can't (or simply refuse to) use the much better alternatives for accessing the vault. A bounty board would be quite nice as well. I also never really understood why they feel the need to have the splash screen for rank up. It's a rather minor annoyance but still somewhat of an annoyance.

I agree with the gambit and crucible banners that come up each time you god damn rank up, but tbh the trials one isn't at all bad because you can easily get rid of it, unlike the crucible and gambit ones

Yet the article clearly says the amount/pool of cheating is up [b][u]by[/u][/b] 50% implying that if 2 out of 100 players cheat, there is 3 out of 100 players now cheating. Moving on.
