Titles - obtainable for solo players
Any chance of this?
I thought I could do the destination one but nope, need all the escalation protocol stuff prevents that.
Unbroken etc also out of reach of a casual solo player.

Update: now that escalation protocols don’t take 6 people (which took hours to arrange) and armour drops without weekly keys, it’s not as bad as it seems.

Depends on what you consider the term casual to mean? Is this time commitment, personal ability, game philosophy (prefer fun rather than challenge)? Or something else? There are titles which are not meant for any definition of casual (raid, crucible and conqueror) - these are the hardcore titles that can be completed without a clan but take a lot of effort (personal perspective will apply of course) and a bit of luck with the right lfg group! The remainder can be completed with a bit of effort, a lot of time and a some help from lfg here and there.

I play solo primarily. Im a Dresgen, Wayfarer, Undying and Savior. Almost to Reckoner. Just need to grind it out.

3 RepliesI play solo. I have dredgen and one from a past season. I very almost have the destinations but need the EP guns and bray tech osprey. I also very almost have cursebreaker and chronicler but I cant get them bc of the taken egg that is just after gorgoroth :( The seasonal ones are the easiest to get tho.

I did every title using lfg, my clan was useless. Just be honest when you join and some will help. Don’t worry about all the toxic pieces of crap, just move on bait them into saying something through chat and get them comm banned -blam!- em

The only title i ever got was Almighty. Been a solo player since the beginning. I couldn't give less of a shit for any of the other ones.

Chronicler, dredgen, wayfarer, reckoner and all seasonal titles can be done solo. All are easier with more people, but that’s how shit works.

I have siloed reckoner,savior, dredgen, wayfarer, cursebreaker, and have almost finished chronicler, I though about almighty but seraph towers are dead

There’s also dredgen, but the one solo player I know who got it, it took him 2 seasons and a broken controller, from how bad gambit is. He’s normally chill, but not when playing gambit.

It does help to have a fireteam, but you can easily LFG 2 people from the fireteam finder. Takes 30 secs and no mic. 7 RepliesUnbroken out of reach for a casual solo player? No shit. Lol. Having the unbroken title isn’t meant to be something you accomplish by casual play. Most titles can be obtained if you choose to play alone but many other la can not be, that’s ok. They don’t need to weaken the requirements for titles so players can login for 5 hours a week and get them.

1 ReplyI played almost completely solo and got Wayfarer, Dredgen, Chronicler (OK I'm lying, I literally had 1 more trip to the throne room but just don't care anymore), needed 2 more 5500 runs for Unbroken and the Corrupted strike pulse rifle for Cursebreaker but really could care less these days. I don't know if any of them are actually obtainable solo, just suggesting them because of how I normally played except for joining a raid here and there.

Theres lots of solo titles. I got a lot of mine solo lol. Im not a pvp guy, so i skipped those two, but like, dredgen, wayfarer, chronicler, all the seasonal titles like dawn, undying, almighty i did solo. Only for raids did i need to do stuff as a pre made 6 stack

For me dredgen is a pain because i have to reset my infamy and I played like 40 games of gambit in a season and I wasnt even close, then my rank was reset the next season. And honestly, I'm all burned out of gambit after the breakneck quest.

4 RepliesI play solo and got the Wayfarer title. A few other soloist I know also have Dredgen. Can't say that I actively pursued the title from the start. I actually didn't care about the titles as I thought that as a soloist there would be no way of getting any. I then noticed that, just by playing the game, I was a few items short of the Wayfarer title, coincidentally, they included the escalation protocol weapons and the braytech rocket launcher. This was when I thought I'd go for it. For escalation protocol, when Mars became the flashpoint and on a week when all weapons could drop, there are often more people around and after grinding for a few days I managed to get all of the weapons without actually putting a fireteam together, just played with randoms who were present. For the rocket launcher I simply went on an lfg and grinded the nightfall until the rocket launcher dropped. Another item that seemed hard to get solo was getting the Secret Victories emblem. I hadn't bothered to do the ascendant challenges, instead, by grinding blind well, the emblem can drop on opening the chest in the end.
