The slug shotgun buff doesn't matter
THEY ARE ALL GETTING SUNSETED, blasphemer is the most recent one (to my knowledge) and it's a shadowkeep one so it will be gone pretty soon, the only one left with be chaperone because it exotic. This is a problem with quite a few weapons archetypes and it should be noticed.

1 ReplyBows and swords are also in serious trouble. Like... there better be a truckload of new, viable weapons with this next season. The amount of stuff needed to justify sunsetting at this point would have to equate to a paid expansion.

4 RepliesUntil the new one that they will add in next season. Sunsetting is a way to be able to add new stuff. Just play the game with new gear. I mean, Heaven forbid you actually change your play style once in a while. It's healthy for the game.

Slug shotgun buff pretty much confirms the next raid is gonna be like GoS again and you gotta use that izi or whisper. They are not gonna buff shotguns that much before the raid. Man I missed melting raid bosses with legendary shotguns.

All the work and most of the enjoyment for many is perfecting your build and your choice of gear. That's what the Endgame essentially is meant to be. Now it's company determined, with drastically limited options, that can never be how you want your character to be - there is no endgame.

Im oddly excited to see how Slugs, specifically the Chaperone, will be in PvE. Ive always wanted to use the Chaperone in PvE since the Cinematic trailer we got for TTK. The Titan killing all those taken with it was bad ass😍. My only gripe is that slugs run out of ammo very fast so I wish they would have gotten an ammo buff as well.
