Why does it take ages to load into my inventory and load into the game when in destiny 1 I could quick switch weapons pretty fast. PC players have the option of switching to great exotics before activating their super and I feel we console folk should have that option too.

It’s more of a console problem than a Bungie problem. I put a SSD in my PlayStation and it is so much faster. Cost around £80 and it is well worth it. I have 2 playstations - 1 in my office where I play and 1 in my living room that has Netflix etc. I cannot play Destiny in the living room now as this PS4 does not have the SSD in it - the difference is that much. The only reason I would say to not get one now is if you’re looking to get the PS5/Xbox at launch.

I’m so interested to feel D2 with PS5 (supposed) load times and processing. Couldn’t imagine this game without the delay in inventory or loading screens.

Just think of it this way. Would you rather deal with semi annoying load times... or the very prevalent amount of hackers that are all trolling and ruining the crucible on PC? Yeah nah im fine with slow console load times bud.

That's mostly a hardware issue. You can only optimize so much when the hardware is close to 7 years old. As people said, if you can take the loss of storage capacity a SSD will dramatically reduce your load times.

3 RepliesHave you tried an ssd in your console?

3 RepliesIt’s not a “feature” pc gets. It’s just simply how fast the console can load. No doubt it will be lightning fast on the next-gen consoles in December
