Exotic Quests suck
So I'm about thirty some odd hours in trying to clear out 4 exotic Quest and I keep getting stopped because they all need at least four participants and some sort of stupid run through crap that I just do not have a friends list for and I'm not waiting over an hour for you to match me up with somebody either you all fix this crap that I've been complaining about since the original Destiny 1 release or that's it I will never purchase another season of Destiny nor the silver ever again I will completely erase this from my system and be done with anything bungee produces on Destiny. And while I'm typing this,I have a very serious question why the hell can you idiots not figure out how to fix the cross platform problem everybody else does it why are you refusing to make Destiny 2 cross-platform every last person I know has a PlayStation 4 I'm the only one with an Xbox One this is the reason why I keep getting stuck on the stupid crap that you require more than one person to do! It really does suck the fun out of the entire game for me and pisses me off that I dropped almost $100 on every single season, not counting all the silver that I've been buying over the last couple of years, just to be locked into not being able to complete these quests because you guys will not cross platform or the fact that you make people have a friends list in order to complete this crap!

Many guides online on how to complete them.....Do the ones that you can do. The activites that need multiple people, there are many new light players that need help too. Make a group and help each other. Another option is to ask for help. There are many friendly people willing to help others. It just takes time, there arent lots of us out there.

Agreed. Adding optional match making for all activities would solve it and console cross play would be fine also.

Some exotics require you to go out of your comfort zone and reach out to other players, and that is 100% good. That's what makes hard-to-get gear feel special when you finally climb that hill. Look up groups on LFG's/Reddit or find a clan to join. You can do it.
