Why are your servers so bad??
No other online game I play has the "contacting Destiny 2 servers..." as routinely as this game. None. It's not my network whether you like it or not. I guess the ineptitude of Bungie encompasses more than just the ability to go bug-free for even 1 month.

Its 2025 now and its still -blam!- servers! I'm sooo done! Bungie cares more over cosmetics/ new DLC´s that we have to keep paying then having okey running servers for there player base!... I'm so annoyed!!!

This BS still rings true, error code beaver nonstop they can keep making expansions but not upgrade the servers? No more of this P2P garbage.

Simple really, people do not pay enough money that Bungie think it is worth to correct it. I wonder when they launch a V.I:P dedicated server for people that want to take their D2 gaming seriously. And leave the scrap tp the F2P players and semi serious. The one thing that i have learnt regarding companies like E.A, Bungie and Activision is that they really do not care about cultivating their relationships with players and customers. The only thing they care about is money. To help them increase and reach their goals they grease the influencers on social media and youtube, twitch! For me it's a no brainer, get the possible best servers that you can get for money and create a satisfied playerbase that can enjoy the game without any hiccups! I know, i know, it's an Utopia!

Getting rekt by a player with an auto rifle with the fire rate of xenophage while he is teleporting is all over is an instant go to orbit

They still feel P2P is far and above better than a dedicated networking structure which is just lingo for the task is to large to bring this game into 2020 from 2007 netcode wise not to mention the amount of money needed to invest in it. but heyyy its good for PvE ! ... heres a newsflash, no its really not.

Edited by Krantzstone: 5/25/2020 5:11:14 PMIf it is PvP it is usually due to network manipulations by cheaters using lagswitches / Net Limiter 4, DDoSing, due to Bungie's hybrid peer-to-peer. https://www.pcgamer.com/the-strange-science-of-destiny-2s-uniquely-complicated-netcode/ Case in point: my last match was playing against lagswitcher and still keeping pace on the scoreboard, and then suddenly game is contacting D2 servers like Karen contacting 911...and baboon error. Booted from game. Classic drophack.

3 RepliesThe corona has caused internet companies to heavily throttle speeds. For the past 6 weeks, my 500/500 fiber internet has actually been 40/5 during the times i usually play. Destiny requires 3x the amount of data than pretty much every other game. PC servers are completely screwed up but not console.
