Logged into Destiny 1 today to go ahead and play it for a bit to look back on how Destiny used to be, and on the weapons I missed. I distinctly remember having several weapons, including numerous exotics and raid legendaries in my vault the last time I played; years of collecting and infusing and farming. Somehow, the entirety of my vault (other than consumables) was mysteriously deleted, but not scrapped (didn't gain any weapon materials, Glimmer or Legendary Shards from the last time I had logged on, and no registered log ins until today). This irritated me a lot, as I lost literal years of progress and collecting, including some of my favourite weapons in Destiny history such as my GENESIS CHAIN and Hawkmoon. I can confirm no suspicious logins to my account at any point, no playtime since my last log in, no currency or component gain, nothing that would indicate me having scrapped the items, many of which can't be acquired anymore such as masks.

2 RepliesUnfortunately, Bungie does not restore lost or deleted items or characters.
Whether due to accidental deletion or unauthorized account access, Bungie does not recover manually deleted characters or items, and does not replace in-game items that are lost or dismantled.
If you, personally, did not delete anything then it is recommended that you change your passwords, enable 2FA and review the Bungie Account Security Guide for more tips.

1 ReplyFrom what you’ve said, as the trackers saying your stuff is still there, I recommend making sure you’re on the right account, then trying other forms of troubleshooting, depending on your console.
