Where to get the Trackless Waste
Does anyone know where I can get the Trackless Waste (Tangled Shore SMG) to drop? I need it for Wayfarer and I’ve tried some of the lower tier bounties from the spider and didn’t have any luck and the highest tier bounties don’t even list a legendary item as a reward. I’ve also tried some lost sectors but again I have yet to get it.

Im relatively new and somehow have a ton of them, all with grest rolls lol. I just did 4 menagerie runs with the smg rune slotted in, didnt even slot in the second rune, and still got 6 of trackless waste and hard truths. Wish I could give them to you - shame d2 doesn't have a way to do that, I have 0 use for all of mine.

You can get it from the menagerie with a rune of beast in slot one and any red rune in slot two or it can drop from the Mercury lost sector.

I’ve had 2 drop randomly while on IO. One last night while I was picking up a menagerie chest at the endless gate, but it dropped random while I was making my way there. Not from the chest:).
