Fallen food
Do fallen really only need ether to survive or do they also need water and such.
I know the cabal eat and drink all kinds of things and the hive eat meat but I don't remember ever seeing anything food/drinking related about the fallen

They eat children, or innocents that are unable to defend themselves, pretty standard for evil dudes to be honest.

They will maim to earn their Machine God's favor.[/quote] Think of Ether as a necessity with steroid enhancing abilities when consumed in copious amounts. This is what produces Kells and Archons. Variks has taken a large amount and is now as big as a Captain, maybe larger than a Baron. They probably still need to eat and drink; which apparently Human flesh is sufficient to satisfy, but to what extent? We don’t know.

Yes the fallen do eat, mostly meat I think but I also remember Mithrax talking about the fallen equivalent of a potato Ether is both oxygen and steroids for the fallen, I doubt a species could evolve into a space fairing civilization if they only ate air [spoiler]but who knows [/spoiler]
