Most toxic community on a game?
I come on forums every now and again but I see the same thing everytime. Post after post, people crying and moaning about updates, guns, exotics. You name it there is a salty post about it somewhere.
Destiny is a fantastic game, obviously some things need tweaking and there is no denying that, especially in crucible. But my post is mainly about the people saying things like "ALL GO TO DESTINY 1 AS A PROTEST". You can't be serious?
Get on with it and suggest some good feedback rather than crying about how his gun killed him before yours did.
I already know there will be people commenting on this post saying about how many things are wrong with the game and its only feedback but if you are genuinely that concerned with the 'issues' on the game then maybe you should consider playing something else that you enjoy, because you clearly don't enjoy this one.

Commenting from 2021 and it's only gotten worse. To the point where people are complaining they aren't getting a weapon drop on their 1st run of a nightfall to complaining their AR doesn't do as much damager per bullet as a hand cannon. It's just a toxic waste of time. There's nothing to gain from the forums and anyone trying to start an actual conversation or promote/look for a clan is getting drowned by the whiny players constantly complaining and getting mad at anyone who tries to say an alternative to their negative opinion.

There are [b]way[/b] more toxic communities than Destiny. LoL and FIFA make this place look like a tea party.

It really seems like the Destiny community, but the only other I have to compare to is the Borderlands forums and they are always pretty positive.

1 ReplyTotally agree. Critical feedback is totally fine but attacking developers and throwing insults is just a waste of everyone’s time. My biggest annoyance are players complaining about changes that haven’t even been implemented yet.

How positive or negative the feedback is reflects the state of the game. The feedback comes from players who care about the game and who want to see it improve. Even negative feedback isn’t toxic. What’s actually toxic is suggesting that players who interact with the forums as intended (discussing the game and giving the feedback) should quit playing the game.
