I’ve been playing video games since 1983. My first game I played was Jr. Pac-Man on the Atari 2600 & as long as I can remember there’s always been cheat codes for video games. The most popular or favorable cheat code I remember is the blood enable code for Mortal Kombat on the SNES or Genesis. I think many players would love to see blood gushing out on an enemy after a precision shot kill; Or a cheat code to unlock a certain level or quest or ascendant mode always on for the Dreaming City or maybe Grandmaster setting for the entire game that would be a consistent grind that unlocks massive rewards for each level completed. A code to equip all exotic gear & weapons at once. Hyper speed/fast mode Or a code to do simple features such as marking your path. Which simply would be expanding the ability to place a pinpoint (Mark) ANYWHERE on the map & be given the location to that point. This would be helpful when trying to locate a regional/golden chests, lost sectors, hidden treasures & so on. Imagine being able to do a single man RAID with some of the older raids. The cheat codes would add a piece of missing nostalgia to the game. Cheat code advantages would not be applied to any PVP activities such as Crucible/Gambit/Iron Banner/Trials.
