That was my first thought, too. Weirdly, it only happens with destiny and no other game, even way more recent ones (Borderlands 3, CoD MW, Shadow of the Tomb Raider).

Every game stresses the HW components differently; in my desktop PC you can hear the video card fan go to full max when playing D2 even in places you'd think were not so taxing for the GPU.
