3 RepliesIt’s their way of keeping everyone on the hamster wheel. Without sunsetting, what’s the point of grinding once you’ve got your perfect statted armor and build? Everything after that point would feel useless, it’d be either sharded or infusion material. With sunsetting, players will need to grind out new god-rolled gear at least once a year, if they want to have min-maxed gear for pinnacle activities. Bungie has made it VERY clear that grinding is the name of the game, so you can’t be upset at them for furthering that vision. If you don’t like that vision, it’s best to just leave. Big thing to note: for players that have the game just to hop in for some Crucible or a Strike or two, sunsetting means NOTHING for you. You can get your perfect Crucible gear, maxed at 1050 light, and use that until they shut the servers down. You never need to regrind for new gear unless you want to turn it into a universal ornament.

2 RepliesWhile I see your point... Isn't "If you don't agree you're [Here dismissive word of choice]" just making you look like another one of those pathetic excuses of clustered matter? Also, there are season mod slots on some pieces of armor. In my opinion completely pointless but they probably can somehow be used as an argument for that.
