If youre under 1000 power, stop complaining about sunsetting
The amount of up to 500+ upvoted posts, made by people complaining about sunsetting, by people who arent even 1000 PL, and dont even DO THE CONTENT besides PvP, need to really shut up.
First, WEAPONS ARENT GETTING DELETED.
If youre some only PvP sweatlord, who whines in forums all day, guess what? You can still use those weapons.
You can run around with your cancerous Sparebenders loadout forever.
This change ISNT FOR YOU.
Its for the actual MAJORITY of the playerbase, who exist to play a loot game, and havent gotten loot, cos dumb PvP players always whine, and some guns become unbeatable.
Some PvP, "pro Gambit invader" player, isnt remotely affected by this.
This is for ENDGAME player, not your ego.

Okay, that means I can voice my opinion then, thank you for the permission! My problem isn’t necessarily with sunsetting, it’s because the state of the loot in the game doesn’t support the idea of sunsetting, getting god rolls takes a long time, getting armor with good stat rolls takes a long time, and the fact that Bungie is bringing some of these weapons back. The game is being switched back to the casual players now, we might as well get static rolls back. As soon as I get a weapon roll that’s acceptable, I’m stopping there. No reason to spend time grinding to get something better because it will be sunset a year after it comes out.

1 ReplyDays, hours, minutes spent master-working weapons and armor with mats, cores, prisms, etc. Now they’ll only be good for PvP, post sunset. Garbage. Bungo ain’t refunding shit to anyone who ever invested in this game. I’ve only got about 3500 hours in; wondering about the other poor fools with double this amount. We all paid money to play this and the only real investment IS the MW weapons and armor.

So if you even want to run old gear it would be pointless because you’d be getting used to weapons and armour you can never use when it actually matters. So you’d be honing your skills with something that’s completely useless in any end game pvp activity. Now that I’ve strained that up and taught you a little lesson about pvp. What gives you the right to tell others not to post or voice their concerns if they aren’t 1000 power level when you don’t even know the first thing about pvp? Makes no sense. Dire bender* much better!

10 RepliesI'm 1000+ and I'll speak for all those people. Its bullshit and going to run a lot of players off. Sorry, not everyone has hours to grind a night. But the time I put in for NF shouldn't get thrown out the window. They wanna introduce better stuff to make people wanna switch? Great! That's what a decent studio would do.

Its for players to discuss the game and give Bungie feedback. That’s what they are doing, and this is the place for it.

I guess the game isnt for casual pve players either. Oh I see this game was developed exclusively for you and therefore only you can have an opinion. Im sure now thats cleared up the posts voicing concerns over the direction of a game they love will stop immediately. Btw in case you didn't get the memo trials and Iron banner are power enabled.

Umm, what loot are they adding to the game? They’re literally going to be rotating gear just with different perks and stats which is hardly a motivator to play.
