More activities outside of 'Shoot the xeno in the face cuz The Emperor demands it. No, wait, Zavala demands it. Zavala does!'. I know, Destiny is a shooter but for example the fabled Sparrow racing... Only heard of it as I haven't played Destiny 1 but my very first thought was to wonder if I could race with it when I saw my default Sparrow.

A return to D1 in almost every way. D1 was a better game. Take the advancement of D2 and apply them to D1.

Exotic class armor and glowing shaders - like D1. ALL raids offering updated loot - like D1. Skeleton keys that guarantee strike-exclusive drops - like D1. Etc.

Strike specific loot in the heroic playlist, not just nightfall, and factions how they were in D1 with weapons that refreshed once a week.

More open world missions, quests, side- quests (general focus on open world, really). With the ability to scale difficulty up or down, and perhaps even add modifiers. More unique weapons and armor, example: weapons that can shoot a vortex that pulls enemies in and does damage over time. Armor/armor mods that alters abilities, example: Turns flashbang grenade into a tracking missle that does less damage but, has a bigger blind radius. Making stats have a larger impact. Resilience significantly reducing damage, discipline increasing grenade damage and AoE size, strength increasing melee damage (with swords as well), recovery reducing blind, burning, suppression, ect.

More exploration into the story through the story, strikes, quests etc. Quests shouldn't have busy work or "reprised" strikes. They should have brand new missions, like d1.

1 Reply- I would like to see other perks be buffed to be valuable, so that damage perks arent the only sought after perks. - I would like to see all perks roll on all weapons. Weapons should not have limited perk pools. - Seasonal mod slot on exotic armor, so that it becomes more worth it to equip and masterwork. Or the removal of seasonal mods. (Not raid mods) - i would like to see every exotic weapon have an intrinsic type of round, (Eg. Overload, barrier), so that they are relevant to endgame activities. Or the removal of the types of rounds, so that we can use whatever weapons we want, rather than the seasonal choice, based on mods. - Removal of the battlepass and endless levelling. The battlepass is for fortnite, not destiny. - D2 Artifact changed into a D1 style artifact, or simply removed. - A way to increase the infusion cap of gear, albeit with a grind. That way, we can put in the time and effort to keep certain weapons if we wish, although we mostly be incentivized to use new weapons. - auto-dismantle of blue gear, so that our inventories are not so bloated by blues. On that note, a reduction of blues from general rewards would be good. - Exotics be buffed signficantly, but also made far more rare, so that exotics are exciting. - Vendor refresh, but thats coming - more ritual weapons, not pinnacles - ability to obtain earned curated rolls from collections. - bounties from orbit, not eververse. - console load time optimizations if possible - elimination of seasonal model, in exchange for a larger fall expansion, with smaller events and stuff in between. I personally believe in quality > quantity.

Edited by Bertram253: 5/16/2020 1:17:01 AMA ton of new strikes but (wait for the end) with a lot of randomization in objectives, enemies spawning and surprises. So that you never see a strike rolling exactly the same way in weeks. And with targetable loot (but it seems I can soon see that one done)

1 ReplyDarkness subclasses. Return of Mythoclast, Necrochasm, and the exotic Khovostov because why not? The rest of the exotic catalysts. More pinnacle/ ritual weapons. More solo player friendly content/ things that don't force co-op to obtain. Revert some nerfs. A fix to both the bugs on Polaris Lance. Buffs to worthless exotics such as Wishender, Tarrabah, and Graviton Lance. Buffs to pinnacle weapons (not game breaking ones, I mean like Hush resetting Archer's Gambit on precision kills, how would that break PVE or PVP?).

Crucible playlist pruning. Pvp lobby balancing rehaul. Survival playlist matchmaking rework. Concurring worthwhile survival playlist rewards. Trials rework. Survival + trials paywall and more effort on anti-cheat. 180 rpm archetype pvp damage values rework. Hand cannon pvp bodyshot damage values / range rework for archetypes other than 150. Lightweight pulse rifle pvp rework; possibly bodyshot damage / range increase. Rehaul to the network model (p2p parts), though this won't happen. More crucible loot with regular seasonal refreshes.
