As of right now warlocks (in terms of abilities and movement) are just worse titans... [u]The Class[/u] Warlocks in D1 had decent in air strafe movement leading too “warlock skating” where that isn’t a possibility without using top tree dawn or at all on console. A few updates ago (I’ll try and find the patch notes) burst glide’s acceleration was nerfed due to its potential on PC... it would be nice too see warlocks have some spotlight for once. Also I figure I can elaborate why warlocks appear faster on PC; warlock skating is possible due too the FOV slider. In fact on all characters it appears you’re moving much quicker but with warlocks it’s much more potent. This is due to their jump relying on acceleration. With the camera being farther back it creates the illusion that the foreground is approaching quicker. Returning warlocks burst glide to its former glory along with increasing our intrinsic higher recovery (like D1 had) will give them some more edge. [u]Warlock Exotics[/u] This is where I have the most top day. As of right now theirs really only 2 or 3 real choices when it comes too PvP. Transverse and ophidian are easy go to’s when it comes too passive exotics. Another 2 that come too mind are crown of tempest and astrocyte. Both of these can be strong with the right build. Where I’m trying too go with this is, where’s the variety?? 80% of warlock exotics are worthless both in PvP and PvE. Either due too nerfs or bad perk design. It would be nice too see under preforming exotics receive either a rework or buffs. This is sort of a rant but contains some insight from someone who would like too play warlock but is tired of seeing nerfs to a class that is already lacking (arc web....)
